Bergen Chinese School (BCS) recognizes the hard work of our students. Twice a year, students participate in school-sponsored academic contests: story-telling/recitation contest in the fall semester and a traditional Chinese character recognition contest in the spring semester. Perfect attendance is also a recognition for which students strive.
BCS also recognizes outstanding, well-rounded graduating seniors through the BCS Senior Scholarship program. The purpose of this scholarship program is to encourage these students’ accomplishments in their Chinese study. This scholarship may be used towards the purchase of textbooks and school supplies for higher education.
