We are proud to announce that Bergen Chinese School has established a Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning 臺灣華語文學習中心 (TCML). BCS is joining more than 40 TCMLs that have already been established around the world, including at least 34 in the U.S., 2 in the U.K, 2 in France, and another 5 in Germany, Austria, Ireland, Sweden and Hungary. The Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning at Bergen Chinese School will be offering in-person and online Mandarin language classes using traditional characters to adults (age 18 and up).

REGISTRATION FOR 2026-2027 CLASS NOW OPEN
- Classes will begin August 30, 2026 and end June 6, 2027
- Classes will meet every Sunday
- Class time: 1:00pm – 3:45pm
- Tuition: $900/student
- Books/materials: $35/student (waived for returning students since they will continue to use previous books)
- Registration fee: $80/per family

Note for TCML students with children in CSL/CHL program:
We have created a Jumbula account that contains all of the information in our records for all current families with children in the CSL/CHL program. Each family should have received an email from BCS asking to verify that each family can access their accounts.
To access your account, please go to https://bergenchineseschool.jumbula.com/.
Once you are there, click on “sign-in/sign up” (upper right corner of the screen). This will take you to a log-in screen. Enter the email address at which you received our email. This is the email address for the family account that has already been created, which contains your children’s information as well as any credits that you may have. Do not create a new account. Then, click on “Forgot Password”. This will cause the system to send you an email asking you to set a new password.
To register for the TCML class, you will need to add yourself as a “participant” to your family account before registering for the TCML class.

Note for TCML students WITHOUT children in CSL/CHL program:
Visit our Jumbula-powered registration page at https://bergenchineseschool.jumbula.com and enroll in the “TCML adult” class by clicking the “Express Register” button. You will be prompted to sign up for a new account and then follow the prompts to finish registration.
Due to the nature of the Jumbula system, enter yourself as both “parent” and “participant”. If a spouse or significant other is also planning to register, that person can be registered under the same account as “participant”.
